Daikin Scholarship

Education is part of Phanos N. Epiphaniou Public Ltd’s, Corporate Social Responsibility. Taking into consideration the difficult times our country is going through, the company has decided to donate €9000 to the University of
Cyprus.

The donation is in the form of three annual scholarships awarded to the student that has excelled in his/her undergraduate studies and will continue his/her graduated studies at the University of Cyprus in the Mechanical Engineering Department.

The agreement between Phanos N. Epiphaniou Public Ltd and the University of Cyprus occurred in early September and Mrs. Andri Epiphaniou, Marketing Consultant of the Group, declared that:

‘We have decided that along with the celebration of our 20 years cooperation with Daikin to mark this anniversary with a gesture that will help the mechanical engineering field. The University of Cyprus, which is celebrating its 25 years of operation, was shown a successful course so far. Even though its young age, University of Cyprus stands among the best universities internationally and can only make our little country proud. Along with its achievements in research and upgrades in its buildings and human resources, we are sure that it will continue its upward course and will soon be a reference point in the international education setting. Therefore, we are very happy to have Daikin’s name, a leader company in its field, be associated with that of the University of Cyprus’.”
